Pietra del Doge

The Piera del Doge (Doge's Stone) collection is dedicated to Istrian stone, widely used in Venice for its intrinsic characteristics. Resistant to salt water, ice and sun, this stone represented the ideal starting point in the transition, around the 13th century, from a city predominantly built of wood to a city of stone, as we know it today.
