The collection is born from the clay that makes up the salt marshes of Palude delle Rose north from Torcello - historically one of the first settlements of Venetian Lagoon.

Inspired by this ancient island and made of the earth on which it stands, the Torcello collection is a metaphor of the matter that transforms, the genesis of a city and an artwork that inspires. 

Made with caramel-colored stoneware and covered with wild clay from the lagoon, this collection features a crystal glaze inside, with azure blue tones that stand out against a golden background, reminiscent of the Byzantine mosaics of the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, considered the oldest in the Lagoon.

All VS ceramics products are handmade, therefore they may have small imperfections, variations in color and shape. Suitable for dishwashers and food contact. For greater care, manual washing with a delicate soap is recommended. Not suitable for microwave.
